Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC seeks to provide the best most customized service for our customer’s vehicles and watercraft. When you book with Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC, you agree to the terms and conditions of the booking prior to making an appointment. Once the appointment has been made, you are bound under the terms and conditions herein. For purposes of our terms and conditions, reference to a ‘vehicle’ includes the item that we are working on. Reference to a ‘vehicle’ in any documentation shall mean any car, truck, watercraft, ATV/UTV, camper or other item we are providing services for.

Our priority is to perform proper techniques and to provide the utmost care for your vehicle. We will not perform any service that shows potential cause to harm or damage your vehicle. Prior to Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC performing any services on your vehicle, the owner is expected to advise us of any cosmetic or mechanical issues that could potentially prevent us from completing the agreed upon services.

Booking & General Terms:

Each customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors and affiliates from any damage, loss, expense, cost, claim and liability (including attorney and legal fees) arising out of Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC services, including without limitation, any accidental property damage not relating to the services performed.

We cannot guarantee firm times when accepting your booking. Detailing times are estimates only. Each vehicle/boat is different and require more or less time to fulfill the services requested. On-site services may be performed weather permitting and we reserve the right to request changes to scheduling due to weather conditions. While ever effort will be made to keep scheduled bookings to the requested arrival/completion window, unforeseen circumstances may cause adjustments to those times and are done so without voiding our cancellation policy. We reserve the right to alter or move a booking if absolutely necessary and with as much notice to the client as possible.

All bookings require confirmation of service location and vehicle condition verification. Services requests are not guaranteed at time of booking sight unseen. Services may require adjustment or may be cancelled at anytime at the sole discretion of Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC. Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any staff, owner or contractor.

All vehicles/boats are cleaned at the customer’s risk and must be able to withstand normal detailing processes. Any previous damage is not the responsibility of Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC. We reserve the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition and according to the type of vehicle as well as the services required or requested. While we pride ourselves on improving the condition of the vehicle, there are no guarantees that a vehicle can be brought back to a specific condition.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC may send either or both SMS text messages or phone calls to confirm your service request and booking before the scheduled date of service. We will contact you day or two ahead of your appointment as a courtesy reminder. As we are a small business, it is important that communication be clear so we can reschedule if needed. Depending on your mobile phone service, you may incur costs from these SMS text messages from your mobile phone provider of which we will not be held responsible.

Pricing & Payment Terms:

Depending on the services requested, Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC reserves the right to require a non-refundable deposit for services to secure the booking. Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC also reserves the right to request 100% payment prior to service completion.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC may request a minimum call-out charge that will vary by location and distance from our home base of Shell Knob, MO. We reserve the right to charge an hourly rate of up to $100 (or a proportion thereof) for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking.

A minimum 20% surcharge may be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, hazardous materials, or excessive sludge/grime. Pet hair and sand are two of the toughest items to remove from a vehicle. The complete removal of pet hair and sand are not guaranteed, however on most occasions, we are highly successful.

Our prices are based on detailing type, location, age and type of vehicle and will be advertised as a ‘from’ price when published. Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC reserves the right to amend any price before or during the detail should it become necessary. Notification will be made to the customer prior to completing services that are more than 10% over the initial estimate provided.

All published prices are subject to change with or without notice.

All stated prices do not include any local or state sales taxes that may apply to services.

Payment is due at time of service, or immediately upon pick-up of the vehicle unless other agreed upon arrangements are made. There will be an additional charge of up to $100 per instance for insufficient funds or returned checks.

Failure to make payment in full at time of service or within agreed upon timeframe will result in a 10% per month late charge. Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will not be liable for completed vehicles left on our property more than 24 hours after service completion (unless prior arrangement has been made). These vehicles may be subject to a storage/parking fee of up to $100 per week.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC reserves the right to file a mechanics lien on vehicles when payment is not made as required. Should legal remedies be required to collect payment, the customer may be liable for additional fees incurred.

If we agree to accept payment by card, pricing will be adjusted (increased) to reflect fees incurred by the card issuer and card processor.

We reserve the right to request payment for either the full or partial amount of a scheduled service if client is a no-show or cancels less than 48 hours in advance (see cancellation policy) below.

Gift Certificates:

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC offers gift certificates upon request. All gift certificate purchases are non-refundable after 3 months and must be used within 12 months of issue date. The final price for services may exceed the value of the gift certificate. If value is exceeded, customer will be expected to remit the difference as required in pricing and payment terms listed above.

Cancellation Policy:

We require notice of 48 hours to cancel any scheduled booking. Failure to provide 48 hours advance notice of cancellation may result in a minimum charge of $100 or 25% of the service cost whichever is higher unless extreme circumstances did not allow you to keep the scheduled service. Perfect Shine Detailing reserves the right to request full payment if a booking is cancelled on the day of the appointment without prior agreement (except in extreme situations). Further, we reserve the right to request full payment for multiple sequential cancellations of a scheduled service.

Perfect Shine Detailing reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but will take utmost care to communicate as quickly as possible if there is a need for a change.

Service Conditions:

Customer must remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle/boat prior to any type of detailing. For boats, this includes life jackets, fishing poles, etc. Interior compartments containing personal belongings will not be detailed.

We reserve the right to use skilled/trained contractors as needed and may need to adjust the detailer assigned to the job at short notice and without penalty.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle/boat being serviced, any belongings contained inside the vehicle/boat, or to the location of service. Major damage directly caused by Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC or its employees or contractors to your vehicle because of gross or intentional negligence or willful misconduct may be reimbursed. Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will approve the vendor used before issuing reimbursement.

Due to child safety, we will not remove or install child car seats from a customer’s vehicle, and we ask that car seats of any kind be removed before service is provided to ensure that we can clean the seat adequately. Additionally, we will neither remove nor install custom equipment from your vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, seat covers, subwoofers, light bars, pet protectors, other electronics, or any other equipment.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC (nor our vendors or contractors) do not accept liability for discharged batteries during or after the service has been completed.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will respect your time and personal property and will always be polite and courteous. However, we reserve the right to refuse, deny or continue with any service if we deem the customer is unreasonable. We will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse under any circumstances before, during, or after services and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered.

We attempt to avoid harsh cleaning products on any interior or exterior area. Our products are safe and are used as indicated to avoid chemically damaging carpets, leather, vinyl, plastic, painted, clear coated, gel coated, or chrome surfaces. Please note that on-water services may be limited depending on required products which may not be allowed on area lakes and other bodies of water.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will make no guarantees when it comes to removal of stains and/or odors from vehicles. Some stains (such as dye or deep mold) are permanent and cannot be safely removed without damaging the surface. Please be aware that some upholstery and carpets are beyond correction and may not completely clean up as expected. We may consult you on what can and cannot be done regarding stains encountered during the service. We are not responsible for damage due to heavily soiled, stained, or damaged interior components, such as dash buttons, steering column buttons and knobs. Such areas can be so full of grime, that cleaning may result in buttons or knobs losing their markings.

We do not clean canvas Bimini covers, car covers, or boat mooring covers unless specifically requested and agreed upon and at an additional charge. Canvas/mooring cover cleaning result is not guaranteed.

We do not shampoo carpets in boats. It is preferred that carpets be removed prior to the service appointment so the any issues are discovered prior to arrival. Boat carpets that are not removable or that are not removed regularly for cleaning may cause additional service requirements to obtain positive results.

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC may, when necessary, gently clean vehicle headliners, however there may be remaining stains. The glue used for headlines will start to release if cleaned aggressively or with stronger cleaners. Please understand that headlines may not come completely clean due to this reason. If you choose to clean them at your own risk, they may appear clean, but will sag over time due to the adhesive being compromised.

We are not responsible for baked on brake dust that cannot be completely removed either on the surface or deep within the wheel. Some wheels are beyond cleaning and may need to be repaired or replaced. Additionally, bird droppings, bug splatter, mold, sap, and tar can and will chemically etch into exterior paint or gel coat or into upholstery if left for a period of time. This may result in a deep mark or stain that may need additional work to safely remove or repair. In some cases, marks cannot be removed completely without compromising the clear coat.

Exterior textured or smooth plastic/rubber trim pieces may be beyond restoring. We try our best to restore the plastic to its original color.

Customers requesting advanced detailing or restoration services including heavy compound, wet sanding, paint correction, gel coat repair, sticker removal, cosmetic scratch repair/removal, etc. require acknowledgement of customer expectations prior to booking. No guarantees will be made. Advanced services are generally a direct result of neglect and previous damage and cannot be corrected in all cases. Customer acknowledges that Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC may uncover damage from previous incidents or neglect that cannot be restored. No assumptions shall be made by the customer before, during or after services are rendered and that realistic expectations must be made regarding attempts to correct previous scratches, halos, burns, stains, or any damage from previous age, previous neglect, accidents, or prior services is not the responsibility of Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC. Please note, that ceramic coating services require advanced detailing to ensure proper application and performance of the coating.

No assumptions shall be made beyond services specified with the customer. Service menu is listed below, anything not specifically listed must be discussed prior to the booking with Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC.

Customer Satisfaction & After the Service:

Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will provide in-process photos and/or videos, and completion photos as well as encourage the customer to walk around and inspect the vehicle at time of completion. Any concerns must be brought forth and discussed during or immediately (within 24 hours) upon completion and prior to the departure of the vehicle or the Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC crew if service was done onsite. Issues or concerns shall be made prior to payment.

If there is probable and clear cause that the services scheduled were not fulfilled as requested, Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC will discuss resolution before payment is made. Service guarantees are not valid after payment is made, after the vehicle leaves our location or after our crew leaves an onsite service location. Cleaning, repairing or utilizing the vehicle after the service without authorization will void all service guarantees from Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC.

Failure to disclose at time of booking any issues that involve damage, scratches, gouges, burns, heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills or overspray, or any other hazardous materials voids any service guarantee (regardless of if the issue was known or unknown at time of service). Some issues may require services beyond what was requested; in this case, the customer will be contacted for permission to continue (potentially at an additional cost). Refusing recommended services outside of the original request may invalidate our service guarantee and will likely impact results of the services rendered.

Refusal or failure to pay for services rendered voids all service guarantee and any continued or rework services or discounts are made only at the sole discretion of Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC.

Care of your Asset after Services are Rendered:

Any wax, sealant, or coating not properly cared for will not last its intended durability length. We always recommend hand washing your assets. If we have applied a ceramic coating to your vehicle’s paint, trim, wheels, or glass and you opt out of our regular yearly maintenance program to care for the coating, we are no longer responsible for any premature coating failure. If you have purchased a warrantied product, you will be provided with details at time of service.

Our multi-year warrantied ceramic coatings take up to 30 days to fully cure. Please refer to materials and instructions provided at time of service. Take special care of your vehicle/boat during curing period. The coating will help prevent water spotting; however, hard water spots will occur if not taken care of properly. Be especially diligent during the curing process to prevent water spots. Additionally, during the curing process, please avoid parking under trees, allowing bird droppings, sap, bug splatter, pollen or tar to sit on the surface and bake, and avoid abrasive washing activities.

Recommended washing techniques include: hand washing using the ‘two bucket method’ (one for rinsing your sponge and one for soapy water, avoid washing in direct sunlight to minimize streaking and water spotting, use separate soap and sponge for wheels, always dry completely – never leave to air-dry as tap water or lake water contains minerals that may leave deposits that will create water spots, use quality microfiber towels for best results, avoid aggressive wiping and allow the material to absorb the water.

Refusal or failure to pay for services rendered voids all service guarantee and any continued or rework services or discounts are made only at the sole discretion of Perfect Shine Detailing, LLC.

Care of your Asset after Services are Rendered:

Any wax, sealant, or coating not properly cared for will not last its intended durability length. We always recommend hand washing your assets. If we have applied a ceramic coating to your vehicle’s paint, trim, wheels, or glass and you opt out of our regular yearly maintenance program to care for the coating, we are no longer responsible for any premature coating failure. If you have purchased a warrantied product, you will be provided with details at time of service.

Our multi-year warrantied ceramic coatings take up to 30 days to fully cure. Please refer to materials and instructions provided at time of service. Take special care of your vehicle/boat during curing period. The coating will help prevent water spotting; however, hard water spots will occur if not taken care of properly. Be especially diligent during the curing process to prevent water spots. Additionally, during the curing process, please avoid parking under trees, allowing bird droppings, sap, bug splatter, pollen or tar to sit on the surface and bake, and avoid abrasive washing activities.

Recommended washing techniques include: hand washing using the ‘two bucket method’ (one for rinsing your sponge and one for soapy water, avoid washing in direct sunlight to minimize streaking and water spotting, use separate soap and sponge for wheels, always dry completely – never leave to air-dry as tap water or lake water contains minerals that may leave deposits that will create water spots, use quality microfiber towels for best results, avoid aggressive wiping and allow the material to absorb the water.
